Cabin Features

Living Space & Comfort

  • A greater sense of space - our distinctive curved roof lifts the ceiling above you, creating a more open, spacious feel than a conventional flat-roof cabin. The result is a brighter, airier room that feels bigger than its footprint.

Interior Finishes & Flooring

  • Interior walls are spray painted in a modern Chalk Dust 1/8th colour. Other colours are available on request.
  • Full heavy duty, cut pile, 100% solution dyed nylon carpet.
  • Stone Polymer Composite (SPC) wide plank timber-look flooring. SPC is 100% waterproof, exceptionally durable, resistant to expanding & contracting, and low maintenance.
  • Your choice of full carpet, full SPC, or a combination of both flooring options.

Windows, Doors & Blinds

  • Double-glazed aluminium ranch slider and windows powder coated in a popular natural Flax Pod colour. Double-glazing means your cabin is warmer in winter and cooler in summer, condensation is controlled, outside noises are reduced, and fading of furnishings is reduced.
  • NZ made high tensile aluminium one-piece easy-glide curtain track over the ranch slider with curtain.
  • White block-out roller blinds on windows.

Deck & Access

  • Timber deck and stairs stained in cedar finish.
  • Outdoor bulkhead lighting.
  • Access ramps are an available option.

Electrical, Lighting & Safety

  • Power supply from a standard power outlet via a caravan/motorhome-style connection. 30 metre power lead included.
  • RCD power protection.
  • 6 double power points (12 sockets).
  • 2 single power points.
  • 2 built in USB / USB-C charging ports.
  • 3 recessed LED lights.
  • Each downlight plugs into a dedicated power socket in the ceiling cavity, allowing the fitting to be unplugged and replaced without altering fixed wiring - making future maintenance simple and convenient.
  • Spare cable entry port for future connections, such as internet, TV or other services.
  • Smoke alarm with 10-year battery.
  • Electrical Certificate of Compliance and Electrical Safety Certificate (ECOC).
  • 4-year Electrical Warrant of Fitness (EWOF).

Structural Framing, Roofing & Cladding

  • Built tough and designed to last using traditional house-building materials and methods, with timber sub-floor framing, joists, studs, nogs, lintels and rafters.
  • Our cabins use timber framing with separate insulation, internal linings and exterior cladding - not the insulated sandwich panels commonly used in caravans and motorhomes, or the insulated metal panels (IMPs) used in some house construction.
  • Solid fixing points: Timber framing provides sturdy fixing points for shelving, TV mounting brackets, cabinetry and larger additions such as retractable awnings, with suitable support and fixings matched to the loads involved.
  • Overlapped roofing, with cladding and flashings installed in shingle fashion to help direct rainwater out and away.
  • Exterior cladding in COLORSTEEL MAXAM® for enhanced durability and protection in New Zealand’s coastal environments.
  • Other COLORSTEEL® colours, Architectural panelling or weatherboard cladding options are available on request.

Insulation & Thermal Performance

  • Full insulation through floor, walls and roof. Warm and dry in winter. Cool in summer.
  • Double-glazed aluminium joinery with timber reveals/liners, Pink Batts® wall insulation and MDF (timber) internal linings help create a comfortable interior.
  • Unlike the metal inner skin of IMPs, our timber-based linings are naturally less conductive, providing an extra layer of resistance to heat & cold transfer (thermal bridging), condensation, and mould.

Trailer, Weights & Towing

  • Manufactured on a robust custom-built galvanised steel double-axle braked trailer enabling simple relocation.
  • Easily towed using a light utility vehicle rated for 3.5 tonnes of braked towing - eg Totota Hilux or Ford Ranger, with a compatible electric brake controller. The loaded cabin and trailer must remain within the ute’s towing, towball and combined vehicle weight limits.
  • Empty cabin and trailer (tare) weight: 2,200kg approx.
  • Towball weight: 220kg approx.
  • 5-stud galvanised wheels.
  • Electric braked axle.
  • Hand brake.
  • Park, brake, and indicator lights.
  • Retractable drawbar for safety and better aesthetics when parked.
  • Cabin bolted to fixing points on the trailer, allowing for easy detachment when required.
  • NZTA Registered | Warrant of Fitness (WoF) tested & certified (combined cabin & trailer unit).
