Here you will find a set of commonly asked questions regarding our portable cabins, if you can't find what you require please contact us.

When can we view your cabins?

Monday to Thursday 8.30 to 4.30.
Friday 8.30 to 4pm.
Saturday 9 to 12.30.
Saturday afternoon and Sunday by appointment only.

Can you build on our site?

All cabins come fully built and are transported to your site. 

Are the cabins insulated?

Yes - all cabins are fully insulated with batts in the walls, ceilings and under the floor.

Are units powered?

Units can be provided with power connectors which allows easy connection to existing power outlets at most homes or camp sites.

Can units be moved on trailers?

Yes most units are suitable for either relocation on trucks or in most cases can be built with trailers fitted to make relocation easy and quick.

How are the cabins delivered?

Towed with our 4 x 4 vehicle, we need unobstructed access to get the cabin onto site.

Can we pick up the cabin ourselves?


Does the cabin stay on the trailer?


What happens with the toilet waste?

We have 2 options chemical type or pump system:
PORTA POTTI chemical toilet it has a holding tank, the tank is emptied, down a toilet or sewage drain.
STANDARD TOILET, with a broy split pump it has a temporary hose connection to a gully trap, sewer or septic tank.

Where does the GREY water go?

The water can go into a holding tank or broy split pump.

How is the power connected?

We supply a caravan lead & interface box which is plugged into a builder’s pole or a 3 pin plug at the house

Can you build our design?

We can make small changings to suit your requirements however Cabins To Go are not a bespoke builder, we manufacture a number of standard cabins this is the best way to improve product quality it also  keeps labour costs down, the benfit for you is a quality cabin at an affordable price.

Site requirements and access to site?

A flat or near level site is required for cabin, we need 3.5mtr clear space around the cabin & above the cabin ie: clear of overhanging trees & Eaves of the house. Room is needed for maneuvering & turning the cabin into position.

How far of the boundary?

Most areas at least 1.5 mtrs of the boundry, in some areas you need 3mtrs

How long is the tow bar?

It is retractable so you will have more room around your cabin.

How high are the cabins?

3.1 mtrs at the highest point center of the cabin on the outside from the ground to the top of roof. Inside height 2.2m in the middle and 2m at the ends.

Are the cabins self-contained.

The cabin is plug & go type so requires water & power, for an optional extra your cabin can be made self-contained with onboard tanks and power systems.
